The scope and nature of the work of the Standing Committee on Anticipating Change Affecting the Judiciary (aka "Change Affecting the Judiciary") include the receipt and study of proposed and/or pending actions of the executive, judicial and/or legislative branches of federal and state government or any professional, public and/or private entity and to recommend appropriate action.
The Standing Committee on Anticipating Change Affecting the Judiciary is divided into three
(3) subcommittees to include:
- Legislative
- Judicial
- Executive
- Benefits
The Chair of the Committee on "Anticipating Change Affecting the Judiciary" automatically becomes the Chair of the Legislative Subcommittee concerned with a study of the work of the legislative branch of government. The Chairs of the Legislative, Judicial, Executive and Benefits Subcommittees of the Standing Committee on "Anticipating Change Affecting the Judiciary" serve through appointment by the President.
